When Jill (Patricia Richardson) begs Tim (Tim Allen) to take Mark to the ballet, Tim reluctantly agrees -- but when Wilson (Earl Hindman) offers him courtside tickets to a basketball game, Tim can't say no. He and Mark (Taran Noah Smith) go to the ballet for half an hour, then the game. When Jill finds out, she's furious that Tim has sabotaged her attempt to introduce her son to the finer things in life. Wilson (Earl Hindman) suggests to Tim that his disdain for ballet is rooted in ignorance, so to make amends with Jill he creates a video of a male-friendly ballet that splices dance with sports footage.

Meanwhile, Brad (Zachery Ty Bryan) and Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas) steal a cigar from Tim's sock drawer and smoke it while he and Jill are gone. At first they're able to hide their mischief - until Tim and Jill find the evidence and trick them into confessing.
