When Mr. Binford dies, everyone is emotionally affected by his passing except Tim. While Al and Jill are both moved to tears by the death of a man who's played a major role in their lives and careers, Tim finds himself unable to cry about it because he doesn't know how to grieve his old friend. After Wilson explains that people grieve in different ways, Tim celebrates Mr. Binford's life with a 21 nail gun salute.
Meanwhile, Jill has been roped into stuffing envelopes for yet another library fundraiser. She enlists the boys for help with mixed results.
