Tim can’t stand his new neighbor, an overbearing, motor-mouthed meat salesman named Joe Morton. To get Joe to quit bothering him, Tim tells him that he has to be left alone so he can take care of Jill, who he claims needs around-the-clock supervision because of a debilitating drinking problem. But when Jill befriends Joe’s wife Marie and both couples go out for dinner at a local steakhouse, Tim’s lies come to the forefront and things get pretty juicy.

Meanwhile, Brad has started taking home economics classes in hopes of meeting girls. At first Randy gives him a hard time for learning how to sew, but Al helps set him straight with some sewing stories from his time in the Navy.
