Jill’s father, a retired military man, comes to visit the Taylors - and he brings copies of the history book he’s just written. He gives one to both Jill and Tim, asking for their honest feedback. They attempt to read it, but the book winds up being so boring that they can’t get through it. When Jill reluctantly confesses to her father that she thinks the book needs a lot of work, he gets angry and blows up at her. After some encouragement from Wilson, Jill is able to sit down and talk to her father about how he needs to manage his anger better.
