Tim Taylor's (Tim Allen) mom (Donnie Bartlett) and his old shop teacher Mr. Leonard (Dick O'Neill) are still dating, and things are getting pretty hot and heavy. But when Tim and Jill (Patricia Richardson) catch Mr. Leonard on a date with another woman at a fancy restaurant, he's furious that a man he looks up to could be so disrespectful to his mother. When Tim confronts Mr. Leonard, he admits that he's been trying to break things off with the other woman, but agrees to hurry it up and become a one-woman man.
