Al has just turned 35, and at his birthday party he tells the Taylors that his one wish is to get married and start a family. Against Tim's wishes, Jill sets Al up with her friend Ilene, a local dentist who turns out to be just as desperate to settle down as Al is. When the two begin naming their future children on their first date, Jill becomes concerned that they're moving too fast. When Al proposes to Ilene on an episode of Tool Time, Tim agrees - and employs some clever editing to keep Al from foolishly rushing in.
Meanwhile, Brad and Randy trick Mark into thinking he's pen pals with corn-loving pro basketball player Isiah Thomas.
